BAPT and CfL have joined forces for an event you won’t want to miss. We are so looking
forward to jointly hosting a Type conference for anyone working with, or interested in,
Leadership and Emotional Intelligence. As co-chairs, we would love to welcome you to this
event. As Type professionals and enthusiasts we have all waited too long for a chance to be
together in-person at a European venue.
Copenhagen is a beautiful city and CfL has a perfect venue for us. We will have the chance
to engage, connect, and learn from so many experts in this field. The line-up of speakers is
outstanding, and the opportunity to support each other in using Type theory in a practical
and meaningful way is amazing.

The Intentional Leadership Framework recognizes type preference pairs as interdependent sets of values, or polarities. This session will explore how polarity thinking tools help leaders use Thinking and Feeling for emotionally intelligent decision-making.

The 2 Motors of the Type Code Explained in Terms of the Relationship Between Movement & Personality

In this workshop we will link motor skills (actions) to personality preferences by using the first four functions of personality and translating them into two different motors. We will explain these by using JTI/MBTI and Action Types.
Remco Nijboer is the JTI license holder for the Netherlands and Belgium. He co-authored “80 Exercises to Apply Jungian Typology”. With John Ogink, he combines JTI and ActionTypes in coaching and team development. Bertrand Théraulaz co-founded ActionTypes in 1989, integrating movement and personality for growth.

This hands-on, interactive, and discussion driven session will challenge attendees to work through a series of scenarios highlighting common communication challenges. Participants will work in small groups to identify the likely type dynamics at play and then generate solutions to best navigate these kinds of situations.

By avoiding the hard vs. soft TF indicators, JTI achieves more balanced TF manager distribution and make emotional leadership challenges more aware. E, N, and P preferences tend to be more prevalent on higher managerial levels.
Rikard Larsson is a professor in business at Lund University and co-founding partner of Decision Dynamics. His publications have more than 8000 Google Scholar Citations. Thor Ødegård has worked as an organisational psychologist since 1982, specialising in conflict and typology.

Angelina is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist specialising in developing individuals through personality work. She is a co-director of Type Pro Ltd, offering type qualification training for Coaches. She is a past President of BAPT and the author of ‘The Shadows of Type.’

Emotions are messy and complex. We tend to judge our feelings as good or bad and consequently judge ourselves unhelpfully. The session will explore the role of Type and creativity in helping us to enhance our EQ skills.
Anna is a Chartered Business Psychologist, experienced coach and Type professional who uses art-based methods. She supports women in STEM professions and businesses who want to create environments within which their people can flourish and achieve business results.
